(NASDAQ:VDSI), a global leader in digital solutions including identity, security and business productivity, today announced the appointment of Tracy McCarthy as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective December 4, 2017.
McCarthy brings VASCO more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources leadership. Her broad-based experience working in dynamic high growth SaaS-based businesses will support VASCO’s continued development of its rapidly growing software business.
McCarthy joins VASCO from SAVO Group, a private equity-funded SaaS software firm specializing in sales productivity software. As SAVO’s Executive Vice President, Human Resources, she led the company’s people initiative in an emerging sales enablement marketplace. Before SAVO, McCarthy was Chief Human Resource Officer at SilkRoad Technology, a SaaS software firm specializing in Human Capital Management, where she led global human resources initiatives. Before SilkRoad, McCarthy held Human Resources leadership roles at Collections, etc. (now Winston Brands) and Corporate Express (now Staples).

McCarthy holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University. She also holds SPHR, GPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications and serves on the board of directors for Chicago Tech Academy.
