Warner Robins Announces Inaugural Burger Week, Showcasing Unique Creations from Local Restaurants This Fall
Burger Week, a contest that has garnered popularity in Macon and other communities, is set to arrive in Warner Robins, according to Macon Telegraph.
The city of Warner Robins and Visit Warner Robins proclaimed the inaugural Warner Robins Burger Week on July 15.
Burger creations that are exclusive to the event and are not featured on the regular menu of each participating restaurant will be available.
Restaurant patrons who are participating in the event are permitted to vote for their preferred option. The People's Choice Champion award is granted to the burger that garners the most votes.
Locally owned establishments are required to participate.
“We are excited to host the first-ever Warner Robins Burger Week,” Mayor LaRhonda W. Patrick said in the announcement. “This event not only celebrates our vibrant local dining scene but also encourages residents and visitors to discover the culinary talents and creativity of our local chefs.”
The event is scheduled to occur from September 22 to 28. Restaurants located within the city limits may register to participate in the contest by visiting the Warner Robins Burger Week website. The registration process commenced on July 15.
Warner Robins Burger Week Offers Chance to Win Prizes with Unique $10 Burgers and Electronic Passports
Additionally, residents and visitors who participate will have the opportunity to register on the website for an electronic passport that will grant them entry into a prize drawing. Visit Warner Robins and the city anticipates that over a dozen restaurants will participate.
According to the website, diners must retain their invoices and take photographs of the burgers they sample to ensure that their vote is considered.
Each hamburger will be priced at $10. Participants are requested to provide a gratuity in order to demonstrate their appreciation for the local businesses. Sides and beverages are priced separately.
Burger Week is “a week-long celebration dedicated to the art of burger-making, inviting food enthusiasts to explore a diverse range of flavors, toppings, and cooking styles across the city’s dining scene,” the website reads.
“Whether you’re a burger aficionado or simply love trying new culinary delights, Warner Robins Burger Week promises a deliciously unforgettable experience for all.”
