Sneakerheads are in for a treat with two major releases on the horizon. The Air Jordan 12 'Barons' are available now, while the highly anticipated Nike SB Dunk Low 'City Of Cinema' is set to release on October 10th. Here’s where you can grab them.
The Air Jordan 12 'Barons' Drops Soon, Offering a Classic Two-Tone Design in Full Family Sizing
It’s been a relatively quiet year for the Air Jordan 12, with only two notable releases in 2024—the GS “Vapor Green” and the “Red Taxi” colorways. However, the latter half of the year is set to change that, with a more robust lineup poised to drop in Q3 and Q4. One of the most anticipated releases, the Air Jordan 12 “Barons,” is just around the corner, with official images now providing a closer look at this classic colorway.
Staying true to the signature Air Jordan 12 aesthetic, the “Barons” features a clean two-tone design split between jet black and “Wolf Grey.” The lighter grey tone is also featured on the sole, contrasting the underfoot pattern. While the colorway may seem understated compared to some flashier releases, it carries a refined, classic appeal, paying homage to Michael Jordan’s days with the Birmingham Barons, the triple-A baseball team he played for during his brief retirement from basketball.
The Air Jordan 12 “Barons” will be released on September 28th in full family sizing: adult ($200), big kids/GS ($150), little kids/PS ($90), and toddler ($75). With its “Wolf Grey” and “Black” palette, this release joins the ranks of other timeless AJ12 colorways like the “Taxi” and “Playoffs.”

Nike SB Dunk Low 'City of Cinema' Set to Release October 10th with Paris-Inspired Design
Meanwhile, Nike is gearing up for the Paris Olympics with an all-out push across its product lines, many embracing French-inspired themes. Among these is the Nike SB Dunk Low, a model known for its bold, theme-driven colorways. First revealed in May, the latest in the Paris series—the Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Cinema”—has just been officially unveiled.
According to Sneaker News, this iteration of the SB Dunk features distressed sienna suede as the primary material, with lightened patches adding depth. Crushed velvet details adorn the collar and heel tab, alternating between burgundy on the tongue and deep royal blue on the rear. The insoles carry the storytelling elements, showcasing an Art Deco-style Nike SB emblem and imagery of a classic cinema interior, complete with comedy and tragedy masks and tasseled curtains.
Notably, recent in-hand images confirm the absence of the darkened dye stripe on the midsole, a feature initially present in sample photos.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “City of Cinema” will be released on October 10th through SNKRS and select retailers and is priced at $125.
