CLEARWATER, Fla., March 29, 2018 -- A new model center for the World Institute of Scientology Enterprises opened its doors in Clearwater on March 25, 2018. WISE provides business solutions drawn from workable, result-oriented principles. Heralded as a resource to help the local community achieve prosperity and success, hundreds of WISE members, local business people and friends gathered for the dedication of the new 2,400 square foot center and to tour the facilities.
Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization Public Relations Director Pat Harney hosted the event. In cutting the ribbon, she said, “This building is dedicated to L. Ron Hubbard as we strive to make our city a prosperous and thriving one.”
Harney pointed out that fifty percent of small businesses in America fail within the first year of opening their doors and one in five Clearwater residents struggle to make ends meet. Therefore, she said, “Entrepreneurs, professionals and executives are looking for help and answers.”
The center’s expansive reception features an audiovisual display with a wide selection of videos, serving to inform curious persons or prospective members on the activities of WISE and the benefits of WISE membership.
The center also includes offices, conference rooms for meetings and coordination, a kitchenette, and a large seminar room equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment for lectures and workshops on skills to boost production and achieve success.
WISE is an international organization with representatives and offices around the world. “WISE has been active in Clearwater for decades,” said Laurent Malherbe, the WISE representative for the Greater Tampa Bay Area. “We have all seen the ‘successful start-up’ that flies high into the sky—only to crash not too long after. L. Ron Hubbard found the reasons behind this—and the solution to bring about stable expansion.” Malherbe explained how those who use the technology find they are uniformly able to produce more with less effort.
“Local WISE membership has grown over the years,” Malherbe said. “Today WISE member’s companies employ over 3,000 people of all creeds, races and religious beliefs in Clearwater and the Tampa Bay area.
“This center means expansion,” said WISE Charter Committee Chairman Graham Payne. “We now have a full service facility for WISE members here in Clearwater.” Deputy Chairman, Kim Payne added, “It will really impact the Clearwater area because it gives us all the tools we need to help the community thrive.
