Video game companies are joining other retailers in temporarily bringing down the prices of their products for Black Friday. Blizzard Entertainment has quite a better deal as the discounts will be live on Battle.net until next week including offers on a couple of “World of Warcraft” items.
‘World of Warcraft’ deals: Expansions, ‘WoW’ special editions available for up to 50% discount
As of this writing, Black Friday promos are now available at Blizzard’s official digital store. The “World of Warcraft” Complete Collection editions are included in the discounted products. The Heroic Edition that regularly costs $124.97 is now only $89.99 after a 27 percent discount. The Epic Edition currently retails for $109.99 instead of $144.97.
There are no changes in the content on both “World of Warcraft: Complete Collection” editions. The Heroic Edition will still include two Character Boosts from level 110 to 120 and all expansions released for the franchise. It also includes a Heroic Edition pre-purchase of the upcoming “Shadowlands” expansion that grants access to the Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount and Death Knights for Allied Races and Pandaren.
Meanwhile, those who are after smaller purchases like a standalone copy of the “World of Warcraft” expansion “Battle for Azeroth” will also find Black Friday deals on Battle.net. Both Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions have a 50 percent discount bringing down its prices to $24.99 and $34.99, respectively. There is still ample time to enjoy “World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth.” While the next expansion was already announced, its release date would likely be set in late 2020. “World of Warcraft” and other Blizzard deals are available on Black Friday and until Dec. 2, a day that is also popularly known as Cyber Monday.
Next ‘World of Warcraft’ expansion is finally announced
After numerous, information and photo leaks, Blizzard confirmed “World of Warcraft: Shadowlands” as the franchise’s next expansion during BlizzCon 2019. It is now available for pre-purchase starting at $39.99.
Avid fans of “World of Warcraft” should know that Shadowlands is a place that has long been introduced in the game. In the series, it is where the souls of the deceased creatures go. In the expansion, Shadowlands becomes an entirely complete universe with several realms for players to explore.
