An X account identifying itself as Iran’s Embassy in India posted a video showing a likeness of President Donald Trump being dropped into a “Hazardous Waste” bin after the Nov. 3 midterm elections.
The account’s profile describes it as the embassy’s official page. Its Nov. 4 post followed the Nov. 3 midterms and carried the caption, “The U.S. midterm elections 😄.” The clip shows suited figures dropping Trump into a bin labeled “Hazardous Waste.”
The Associated Press also reported at least seven Senate seat pickups for Democrats. Its control call came while some races were still uncalled. State election offices certify results, the Federal Election Commission says.
USAGov says midterm voters choose all 435 House seats and about one-third of Senate seats. Those contests fall halfway between presidential elections and shape congressional control for the following two years.
