TORONTO, Sept. 05, 2017 -- YANGAROO Inc., (TSX-V:YOO) (OTCBB:YOOIF) the industry's leading secure digital media management and distribution company, today announced a multi-year agreement with Hub Artist Services to provide secure delivery of music from record labels and independent music artists to broadcasters, music reviewers and other destinations in Australia and New Zealand with the newly minted brand, “HUB DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION, powered by YANGAROO”. The agreement initially is for delivery of audio files only.
YANGAROO Music is a proven solution that has been successfully delivering music securely and electronically for content owners to radio broadcasters and other destinations in North America and other territories for over a decade.
YANGAROO has also become the industry standard for delivering secure media on behalf of the premier awards ceremonies in North America including the GRAMMY’s, JUNO Awards and Golden Globes.
The HUB DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION service will be officially launched in Australia at the BIGSOUND Music Conference in Brisbane on 6th September 2017. The introduction of YANGAROO’S world class technology solves a number of issues for artists, labels, as well as broadcasters and other media outlets in Australia and New Zealand. For the former, it delivers the highest quality, watermarked, broadcast ready files, instantly, securely, inexpensively, and directly to the decision makers, in a format in which they prefer to receive it. For media, HUB DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION is for the exclusive use to pre-approved recipients, and these releases are easily accessible in one library via computer or mobile device.
“We are very pleased to partner with HUB DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION to provide the same workflow efficiencies in distributing music in the Australia and New Zealand markets as we currently do in Canada, the US, and Ireland,” said Adam Hunt, SVP Entertainment, YANGAROO Inc. “There is a savvy and well-connected team in place to lead this transition, with the potential to expand to services beyond audio delivery and to markets beyond Australia and New Zealand.”
Paul Paoliello, Director of HUB DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION says, “This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to bring a new service to market. We’ve spoken to potential users in order to understand their needs and have complete confidence in the YANGAROO service to meet these needs. It is a service that is cost effective, user friendly and full of practical features – and critically YANGAROO’s resources and flexible approach means it is always evolving to meet market requirements. The fact that they were chosen to service partners like the GRAMMY’s reflects the calibre of their operations. We’re here on the ground, to make sure our clients’ needs are met, as well as grow opportunities for them. Our commitment is to continue to build innovative and valuable products and services for the local music ecosystem and our vision is the delivery of a network of services connecting artists into North American and Asian markets.”
