LAFAYETTE, La., Dec. 15, 2016 -- YPS Anesthesia Services, a provider of outsourced anesthesia care in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas, announced today that it has received an investment from The Catalyst Group, Inc. (“Catalyst”) through their Family Alignment partnership. Tracy Young, founder and CEO of YPS, along with partner and CFO John Mendell and the existing management team, will continue to lead the business in its expansion plans.

YPS, which was founded in 2003 with a single contract to provide anesthesia at a rural hospital facility in Louisiana, has successfully grown to include contracts with 26 multispecialty healthcare facilities with approximately 150 full- and part-time anesthesia care providers.
