Moroha, Setsuna, and Towa will encounter another one of the Four Perils in “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 9. This week, another character from the original series will also return.
‘Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon’ episode 9 spoilers, official preview
Some fans are worried that “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 9 will just be a filler. But it has been confirmed that the episode will introduce one of Kirinmaru’s Four Perils. That means this installment is going to be important, and it is best not to miss it.
The official preview of “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 9 reveals that one of the Four Perils named Konton will appear for the first time in the series. Konton will immediately step into action and will be fighting with the girls.
Konton should be a formidable opponent in “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 9. The fact that it is one of the Four Perils should mean it possesses immense power. But teasers also indicate that Konton can fight with impressive speed and that the yokai has a very strong defense mechanism.
It will be revealed in “Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 9 that Konton killed Meioju, which explains why the yokai possesses Meioju’s invincible shell. Unsurprisingly, Konton takes advantage of the shell and Towa has to be more creative so that their attacks will not be futile. Some fans find the teasers quite confusing as they recall there was a different character that caused Meioju’s death in the original series. On the other hand, Myoga is also shown in one of the preview images so he could be coming back to provide some much-needed clarifications.

“Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon” episode 9 will also introduce a new character named Meifuku, who happens to be Meioju’s son. At one point in the video preview, Meifuku appears to be talking with his father. It is still unclear if this a scene from the past or if Meioju’s spirit connects with his son in the present.
