Anadolu Agency reported Wednesday that Yemen army spokesman Col. Majed Abdullah al-Nuzaili said government forces carried out 749 operations against Houthi positions over 24 hours, with 239 commanders and fighters described as neutralized. Al-Nuzaili made the statement on X, Anadolu reported. The agency said it could not independently verify the battlefield claims.

He identified the campaign as Operation Dawn of Yemen. Its targets included command centers, fortifications, firing positions, reinforcements and supply routes, according to Anadolu’s account. Al-Nuzaili also reported that 117 military vehicles and pieces of combat equipment were damaged or destroyed.

Army units and Popular Resistance forces continued operations in Taiz, while activity also continued in Al-Jawf, Marib and Al-Bayda and on southern and southwestern fronts, Anadolu reported. Al-Nuzaili said operations would proceed under the military’s plan, with measures to protect civilians and civilian sites.

The new count follows other army statements on Operation Dawn of Yemen. EconoTimes previously covered an army report of 307 commanders and fighters neutralized in 736 operations.
