Dr Melissa Wheeler is a Research Fellow in the Department of Management and Marketing at the University of Melbourne and lectures in the area of change management (People & Change). She has a PhD in moral and social psychology from the University of Melbourne, where she explored the social process of communication, with a specific look at the impact of framing effects on the kinds of appeals used in moral communication.
Melissa has an ongoing interest in the field of moral psychology and applied ethics, including workplace diversity, women in leadership, and the effectiveness of ethical frameworks in persuasive communication. She also holds honorary positions with the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences and the Melbourne Poche Centre for Indigenous Health.
