Researcher in Medical Anthropology, University of Edinburgh
I am a qualitative researcher and cultural/medical anthropologist, currently holding a position at the University of Edinburgh's Center for Biomedicine, Self, and Society. I received my PhD from the University of Chicago in 2017, and was a lecturer there since 2015. I have worked as a science writer for Stanford Medicine and a researcher with The FrameWorks Institute, both of which enhanced my ability to communicate research insights to the public. My research expertise is in reproduction, medicine, American culture, and gender. I enjoy teaching immensely, and am also a doula and reproductive justice advocate.
