Kamran Mahroof

Assistant Professor, Supply Chain Analytics, University of Bradford
Dr Kamran Mahroof is a full time Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Analytics at the University of Bradford, School of Management. He has extensive practical experience having worked in various positions in industry for leading companies including Groupon and most recently for Morrisons PLC, where he led various Business Improvement initiatives in Logistics. Kamran was awarded the Dean’s award for innovation and impact in doctoral research for his PhD, which investigated the role and impact of data analytics in the healthcare sector. Kamran continues to hold a strong connection in several industries through his ongoing research. His industrial experience has helped shape his research interests, whereby he is actively researching in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Social Media Analytics, Organisational Power Dynamics and the Societal Impact of Emerging Technologies. He regularly publishes in high quality and high impact peer-reviewed journals, such as Journal of Business Research, Information Systems Frontiers and Industrial Marketing Management. Kamran is also a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy
