BOSTON, Nov. 15, 2017 -- dataxu®, a leading software provider for marketing professionals, today announced two new awards its software received: Best Overall Technology for programmatic trading at The Digital Trading Awards Asia presented by The Drum, and the 2017 Global DSP of the Year ABBI award presented by GABBCON.
Both of these awards honor TouchPoint™, dataxu’s self-serve demand-side platform. Earlier this year, dataxu rolled out a major overhaul of the TouchPoint user interface, designed to make the platform easier to use and more efficient for dataxu’s customers. The highly collaborative redesign relied on nine months of beta testing and incorporated customer feedback; it ultimately led to TouchPoint receiving the top score in usability among six DSPs, according to a user head-to-head study conducted by an independent third-party research firm in February 2017.
“At Mediate.ly, we pride ourselves on providing unparalleled intelligence and insights through programmatic technology,” said Andrew Perry, AVP, Marketing Channel Management, Mediate.ly. “I know we’re meeting our customer's expectations day in and day out with the help of our technology partners like dataxu, and commend them for these new industry recognitions.”
“It’s always great to receive third-party validation of the effectiveness of our technology, and we’re honored to be awarded these distinctions from The Drum and GABBCON,” said Ed Montes, CRO, dataxu. “At dataxu, the real measure of success for us isn’t how many awards we receive, however; it remains delivering business value for, and innovating with, our customers on a daily basis. We share these awards with our employees, partners and customers. Thank you for helping us reach new heights.”
On October 27, the APAC programmatic industry gathered together at the JW Marriott in Singapore to celebrate and reward the best work across the region at The Drum's Digital Trading Awards APAC. Award winners were shortlisted by a respected panel of judges pulled from within the industry. The second annual ABBI (Audience-Based Buying Innovation) awards were handed out in Beverly Hills on November 2nd. The winners of the ABBI awards were selected by a panel of independent judges comprised of senior brand and agency leaders tasked with evaluating more than 100 submissions across 17 categories.
