‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2’s episode 3, entitled “Shogun”, will find Nate and the rest of the team in Feudal Japan. Nate is set to transform as Citizen Steel while the rest attempt to recover Ray Palmer’s stolen Atom costume from Shogun.
The synopsis for episode 3 posted on Comic Book Movie stated, “Nate (Nick Zano) is shocked to learn that he has powers but then accidentally lands himself and Ray (Brandon Routh) in Feudal Japan. After Sara (Caity Lotz) convinces their stowaway Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), AKA Vixen, that Rory (Dominic Purcell) is not a murderer, they all agree to find Nate and help him master his powers in order to defend the Japanese village from the Shogun and his army of samurai warriors. Meanwhile, Jax (Franz Drameh) and Stein (Victor Garber) stay back to help fix the ship and find a secret compartment but decide not to tell the rest of the team what they learn.”
According to We Got This Covered, Citizen Steel is finally set to make his much-awaited debut on the incoming episode. In the promo released by The CW, Mick Rory a.k.a. Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) watches in awe as Nathan Heywood (Nick Zano) transforms into Citizen Steel.
The name Citizen Steel was used by three characters in the original DC comic books. The series’ version is an adaptation from the original superhero created by Geoff Johns and Dale Eagelsham, who first appeared on the comic book ‘Justice Society of America (Volume 3) #2’.
Nathan is the grandson of Henry Heywood and cousin to Henry Heywood III. He suffers from hemophilia, which leaves him more vulnerable to injuries as his body takes more time to heal than the average human being.
Meanwhile, the rest of the team attempts to recover billionaire inventor Ray Palmer’s Atom costume back from Shogun. The incoming episode was directed by Kevin Tancharoen and written by Phil Klemmer & Grainne Godfree.
‘Legend of Tomorrow’ season 2’s episode 3, entitled “Shogun”, is scheduled to premiere on The CW on October 27, 2016. The series is based on the original DC comic book characters. It is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Phil Klemmer, Chris Fedak, and Sarah Schechter serve as executive producers.
