The 123-story Lotte World Tower in Seoul with a height of 555 meters maintained its position as South Korea’s tallest building since it was completed in 2017, according to 2021 statistics from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport.
Following the Lotte World Tower was the Haeundae LCT luxury apartment complex in Busan with 101 stories and 412 meters, Yeouido Parc1 Tower in Seoul with 69 stories and 318 meters, and the Posco Tower-Songdo in Incheon with 68 stories and 305 meters.
Meanwhile, the building with the largest floor space was LG Display Co.’s factory in Paju, just north of Seoul with 848,000 square meters, followed by Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport with 508,000 square meters, and the Hwaseong Dongtan logistics complex with 486,000 square meters.
Starfield Hanam mega shopping mall was in fourth place with 459,000 square meters, trailed by Samsung Electronics Co.’ Hwaseong plant with 456,000 square meters.
