The third presidential debate is almost here where Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will go head to head for the last time before the November 8 election day. The event will be shown live on major network channels in the U.S. without commercial breaks. For those who don’t have access to cable, there are always online streaming services that they can access for free.
As Heavy reports, several prominent news organizations will be streaming their coverage of the debate on their respective YouTube channels, including CNN, MSNBC, and Fox. The debate will start at 9:00 p.m. EST, though the live streams will likely start a few minutes or hours ahead of that for some political analysis and commentary from experts.
For those who speak Spanish and want to watch a live stream of the event in their native language, Telemundo is also set to have their own live stream coverage. Viewers simply need to go to Telemundo.com, visit their Facebook page, and their mobile app. The network also has its own YouTube channel. As for the content of the stream, pre-debate analysis for Spanish-speaking audience members will be on the table, along with special reports on events leading up to the debate.
Other mediums are available for viewers who don’t like those options as well, since Wired lists a few other places where free live streaming of the event will occur, including select Regal Cinemas. That’s right, viewers can watch the debate without interruption on the big screen and they can even get free drinks whenever they buy popcorn.
For those who are interested, watching the debate via virtual reality is still possible. A 360-degree VR coverage of the event will still be provided by NBC in partnership with AltspaceVR. The VR streaming is compatible with the HTC Vive, the Oculus Rift, and the mobile-based Gear VR.
