Looks like the gang is about to become the center of attention in “9-1-1” Season 2 Episode 6. According to the official synopsis of the episode, the first responders will inadvertently become the subject of a reporter's first assignment as they rescue the occupants of a crashed news copter.
The synopsis also reveals that Bobby (Peter Krause) is still dealing with the death of his daughter, Brook (Noelle Parker). Bobby probably has a lot on his mind because aside from Brook, he also lost his wife, Marcy (Laura Allen), and son, Robert (London Cheshire) in the fire that he accidentally caused.
Meanwhile, Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) is struggling to escape from her painful past. As noted by Hewitt in an interview during the Television Critics Association summer press tour a few months ago, Maddie has problems of her own as she continues to deal with the trauma caused by an abusive relationship.
“She comes to her brother, broken and bothered by what is happening in her life and needing to start over,” Hewitt said, via the Morning Sun.
Replacing Connie Britton and her character, Abby, isn’t easy. However, Hewitt seems to be doing a good job so far, and viewers should learn more about Maddie and her mysterious past in “9-1-1” Season 2 Episode 6.
“9-1-1” Season 2 Episode 6 will also feature the guys responding to emergencies at a bodybuilding competition, an eating contest, and a toddler pageant. Well, that’s an interesting list. On a lighter note, Athena (Angela Bassett) is going to prepare for May's (Corinne Massiah) homecoming dance in the upcoming episode.
Titled “Dosed,” “9-1-1” Season 2 Episode 6 is scheduled to come out on Monday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. ET on FOX. Fans of the show can also check out the trailer while waiting for the episode to air.
