All About Cats Veterinary Hospital Welcomes New Veterinarian Dr. Ashley Love to the Team

LAS VEGAS, Dec. 13, 2017 -- All About Cats Veterinary Hospital, a full-service Las Vegas veterinary hospital, has just brought a new veterinarian on board. Dr. Ashley Love joins Drs. Alissa McCormick, Cathy Berquist and Terri Koppe in bringing focused feline care to cats around the Las Vegas area. 

Dr. Ashley Love grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After high school, she moved further east to attend Delaware Valley University for undergraduate school. She developed a love for traveling and was drawn to visit unfamiliar places to learn about new cultures. This new passion eventually led her to move to Glasgow, Scotland, where she attended the University of Glasgow to earn her veterinary degree.

After graduation in 2010 and already having visited more than 20 different countries, Dr. Love returned to Pennsylvania to begin a veterinary career with a focus on emergency medicine for pets. She then relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2012 to work in a pet emergency room.

Dr. Love has always had a professed affinity for cats. However, as she became more experienced in the veterinary field, she felt even more drawn toward taking steps to ensure her feline patients were cared for and fully understood. This led her to pursue feline medicine to cultivate an even deeper connection with her feline clients and their owners. This naturally led to her joining the All About Cats team in 2017.

Dr. Love currently lives with four feline housemates: Roxy, Nimbus, Dalton and Napoleon. Nimbus traveled with Dr. Love from Pennsylvania to Las Vegas and, according to Dr. Love, he is adjusting nicely to no longer seeing snow out the window.
