Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's recent custody battle over their children has not been bulletproofed against the exaggerations of the gossip industry. As tireless as the news about the back and forth between Jolie and Pitt's camp has become, the rumor mills have been churning out stories that are definite kindling for the fire.
Angelina Jolie was rumored to have kept a “dirt diary” on Brad Pitt and was supposedly not afraid to use it. Pitt himself has been claimed to have nearly gone as low as associating Jolie with a child molester despite the loose association between his ex-wife and the concerned individual.
But a new rumor has been brewing in the gossip pot that Angelina Jolie has resorted to the underhanded tactic of turning the Brangelina children against the 54-year old “Fight Club” actor. According to the rumor, Jolie has been spoiling her six children to make sure that the chances of Brad Pitt for joint custody become particularly slim as the children will side with her.
Such malicious claims can easily be debunked by Angelina Jolie's own move to change her legal counsel. People recently reported that Jolie had changed her legal counsel from Laura Wasser to Samantha Bley Dejean. Angelina Jolie's spokesperson mentions that the Jolie camp believes Dejean's specialty will be more focused on the protection and best interest of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's children.
In addition to the reparation-focused moves that Angelina Jolie has made within her camp to make sure that her and Brad Pitt's divorce and custody proceedings go without a hitch, fans of the actress would do well to remember that Jolie has a big reason to play nice. The June court order which provided Brad Pitt more parity in seeing his children reminded Jolie that should the minor children be unable to create a proper relationship with their father, the court may provide primary physical custody to Brad Pitt.
If Angelina Jolie truly is turning her children against Brad Pitt to win full custody, she might end up having to send them back to their father in Los Angeles, California. This is if the terms of the June court order stating that the children need to create a relationship with their father are not satisfied.
