The magazine reported that she was caught kissing Mickey Rourke and in an attempt to prove the allegation, a photo of the pair smooching was posted along with the write-up.

Romance is said to be blossoming between the two even if it was originally a revenge romance for Angelina Jolie. As alleged by a so-called source, the actress wants revenge against Brad Pitt and chose to hook up with someone close to her ex-husband as a way to realize this goal.

It was said that the 45-year-old A-list star is seeking to emotionally hurt her ex-husband by adding extra salt in his wound following their divorce and bitter child custody legal battle.

“Given most of her besties are in relationships, she’s had to look further afield, and she thinks she’s found the one, for her intents and purposes anyway,” the tipster told New Idea. “Brad’s old pal, Rourke, is the one Angelina wants to hook up with and though he’s not her type, she knows it will get Brad riled up.”

The revenge stemmed from the claims that there was a moment that Brad Pitt “hit the roof” and Angelina Jolie would like to see this kind of fury on Brad again. Thus, she is using another man to provoke her ex-husband and she is doing this every time she and Mickey meet at events.

“Mickey is super handsy with Angelina and she shows no signs of rebuffing his moves,” the source stated. “The thing about Ange is she knows exactly where to hurt Brad and will do anything to raise his temperature.”

Gossip Cop quickly debunked this report because it is misleading and full of holes. For one, the photo that was shared along with the article that shows Angelina Jolie and Mickey Rourke kissing was actually taken during the Academy Awards and it was from a long time ago too. It was taken in 2009!

It is not true that Angelina Jolie is romantically involved with Rourke or that they are hooking up. New Idea was obviously trying to twist the truth but the “kissing” evidence that it provided was exactly what busted its claims that the actress is seeking revenge by hooking up or dating.
