BTS V made it on top searches again after riding the Metro train. His real name “Taehyung” trended on social media as many fans could not believe he was able to ride public transportation.
He is a superstar now and not just in South Korea but worldwide, thus riding the subway is really shocking. Considering the fact that he is one of those celebrities with really crazy sasaeng fans, choosing to travel via public transport is such a feat.
Fans and netizens tweet about Taehyung
Allkpop reported that BTS V posted two photos of his subway ride on Weverse, and fans were quick to react and expressed their surprise and admiration as this is not an ordinary thing for a celebrity, especially if he or she is so popular like BTS. Most of them commented that what the idol singer did was something they did not imagine at all.
This is because, with his massive fame, he could be easily mobbed, which is actually one of the problems that popular celebrities have to face when they are out in public. It was said that shortly after BTS V’s photos while riding the subway were uploaded, the 24-year-old’s name immediately trended on Twitter and Weibo (Chinese social media) in more than 20 countries around the world. BTS V’s fan club gathered screenshots of the trend and posted them on its page to let everyone know how Taehyung is trending.
Unexpected charitable promotion
Aside from being praised for being able to travel on a public train without even a mask to cover his face, some fans noticed that BTS V was also wearing an eco-friendly hat made from recycled polyester and certified fair trade product. The purchase of such products helps factory workers as the money are sent back to them once the items are sold in the market.

Finally, BTS fans are happy that the ARMYs gave BTS V some space when he traveled via public transportation. They said that it really makes them proud of their fandom as the singer’s privacy is preserved, and they are certain that Taehyung himself is also very pleased.
“If you respect the privacy and keep a safe distance from Taehyung, you will be able to see him like this,” one fan tweeted. “Very close, but he still looks comfortable.” Most fans agreed, and they said that the more they allow their idols to relax, the more that they can see them in public like this.
