This week’s episode showed another failed attempt by Jimmy at having his license as a lawyer reinstated. The panel of evaluators decided not to grant his request even before he aggressively confronted them. He was later told to just apply again next year, which explains Jimmy’s tone in the “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 10 preview.
“They dangle these things in front of you, they tell you, 'You got a chance.' But it’s a lie because they’d already made up their mind,” Jimmy says in the “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 10 trailer.
Though there is clearly a sound of defeat in Jimmy's voice, there is also a tone of vengeance showing someone hungry for a comeback. If this has become Jimmy’s state of mind, it is interesting how this will play with his hopes of ending his con-man ventures with Kim (Rhea Seehorn) in “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 10.
Speaking of Kim, episode 9 featured yet another explosive fight between her and Jimmy. But the main protagonist is, indeed, a lucky man. Amid all the failures he endured which Kim had to deal with as well, she still reassures Jimmy in “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 10, telling him, “Whatever happens, I’m with you.”
Meanwhile, CinemaBlend suggests that after confronting the evaluators, Jimmy lost all chances of reclaiming his license to work as a lawyer. With nothing to look forward to as Jimmy McGill, “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 10 might just be the time for Saul Goodman to enter the scene.
Mike (Jonathan Banks) also has an interesting situation coming up in “Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 10. After a success in the superlab in episode 9, he found out that Werner (Rainer Brock) disobeyed his orders by escaping to be with his wife in Germany. Knowing how Mike is, season 4 will probably not end with a lovely reunion that Werner had in mind.
“Better Call Saul” season 4 episode 10 will air on Monday, Oct. 8, at 9 p.m. on AMC. The finale will also be available on Netflix, where fans can also catch up on previous episodes.
