“Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 4 may not be the upcoming episode for CBS's beloved family-oriented crime procedural but it may be making waves with the citywide disaster that is teased to happen to the Reagans in the middle of things.
Based on the “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 4 synopsis released by CBS, the Reagans will be in the middle of the scrum when New York gets hit by a major blackout. The police officers under Frank's (Tom Selleck) command have to handle the ensuing chaos now that one of the hallmarks of civilization has been taken away from the city. But the blackout does not only reveal the worst of New York's citizens.
According to the summary, the blackout also reveals to Frank some unsavory details about his own department. How this will manifest in the episode has yet to be revealed but fans can potentially expect police officers with criminal connections or ill intentions to rise out of the woodwork as the blackout extends its shadow over New York in “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 4.
For fans of Jamco, Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie (Vanessa Ray) continue to have challenges being engaged while still riding with each other as partners on the beat. With New York in chaos in “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 4, hopefully the couple has already settled most of their differences. If not, Frank may have more things to worry about than just the integrity of his department.
But Frank and Jamco won't be the only Reagans who will be put in danger due to the “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 4 blackout. Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and his partner Baez (Marisa Ramirez) are pursuing a lead that could get tipped off any moment. It seems Danny and Baez have to race against time to reach their suspect before she gets tipped off by her ex-boyfriend.
Fans looking forward to how the Reagans will deal with the New York blackout can catch “Blue Bloods” season 9 episode 4 when it airs on Oct. 19.
