“Goblin Slayer” Episode 12 will be released on Dec. 30 and fans can’t wait for this installment’s finale. The previous episode kick-started one of the most brutal fights in the series so far, with numerous adventurers getting in on the action.
While the first goblin wave has been soundly defeated, the next set will prove to be far more difficult. Right now, several goblin hobs and two goblin champions are set to engage the adventurers on the field. As such, Spearman advised the newbies to let the veterans handle the advancing unit. These new batch of bulky monsters is going to provide some major action sequences for fans, with Female Knight and Heavy Warrior teaming up to bring down one of the champions. But apart from this collision, “Goblin Slayer” Episode 12 will also have Orcbolg battle it out with the Goblin Lord himself.
This fight will feature the strength of the Lord and the limitations of our titular hero. At some point, the Lord will be able to smash both the sword and shield of Orcbolg and would’ve managed to kill him off if not for the intervention of Priestess. “Goblin Slayer” Episode 12 will have Priestess use her Protection Spell as a cage.
Once the Lord has been confined, Orcbolg will then strike the killing blow. Anti-climactic as this ending might be, it highlights the series’ realism with regards to combat. Yes, Orcbolg is a powerful adventurer but he’s still human at the end of the day. After the battle, “Goblin Slayer” Episode 12 will have the adventurers celebrating back at the guild.
Liquors of all sort will flood the tables and everyone will be boisterous than ever. But the most exciting moment will be the scene where Priestess asked Orcbolg to take his helmet off. The quiet protagonist will acquiesce with the request and everyone will come scrambling forward as they behold Ocrbolg’s facial feature for the first time. For most, at least. “Goblin Slayer” Episode 12 will probably end on this note with a hint of a new adventure involving Anvil, the Elven Archer.
