“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 is scheduled to return this fall complete with its usual antics and the cast’s unbelievable level of bad luck. Apparently, the premiere of the upcoming season is going to be a funny one and will be two hours long. The show did lose some more of its oldest members, adding to the list of series originals who are no longer in the medical drama.
Alex Blue Davis, who plays the character Casey Parker, recently spoke with Pop Sugar and revealed that the premiere for “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 is going to be quite the funny episode. The actor revealed that he had shot two episodes of the show so far, which is to be expected since filming only just started. This didn’t stop him from giving some hints as to what fans can expect when the first one airs, though.
“It's funny. I really think it's really funny. We were laughing at the table read a lot. There's a lot happening,” the actor said.
With regards to what other details viewers can expect from “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15, Bustle recently posted a rundown of what is known so far. For starters, it was revealed that the premiere episode for the season will run for two hours. This should please the fans of the show who find that one hour is far too short for all that drama.
Unfortunately, it would seem that Arizona Robbins & April Kepner will not be making their way back to the medical drama’s operating rooms for “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15. Sarah Drew and Jessica Capshaw, who play Arizona and April, respectively, announced their departure from the show some time ago. They will be joining the list of long-time cast members who have since left.
As for the premiere date of “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15, fans will want to mark Sept. 27 on their calendars. That’s when the hit program will return on ABC.
