Ivanka Trump shares photo of her father Donald Trump carrying her son Theodore

The Trump family is currently going through the loss of Donald Trump’s brother Robert Trump, who passed away over the weekend. White House adviser and Donald’s eldest daughter Ivanka Trump, recently shared a touching photo of her father carrying his youngest grandchild on social media.

Ivanka shared a photo of her father and her son on Instagram, offering a glimpse of Donald being a grandfather to her children with fellow White House adviser Jared Kushner. In the photo, Donald could be seen carrying her son Theodore across the lawn at the White House. “Grandpa and Theo,” wrote Ivanka on the caption. It is unclear whether this was a new photo or not, but it appears to be taken during one of the family’s trips to the Bedminster golf club in New Jersey.

The photo was shared a day after the announcement of the passing of her uncle Robert at 71 years old. Donald described his younger brother as his best friend, as well as the quieter sibling between the two of them in a previous interview. Other prominent political figures like former vice president Joe Biden and his running mate Senator Kamala Harris shared their messages of condolences to the Trump family.

At the same time, Ivanka’s post coincides with her husband’s recent appearances on the news where he discussed children returning to school for the new school year. Jared insisted that he has no problem sending their children back to school even in the midst of the pandemic. Kushner cited that children have a much higher chance of dying from the flu compared to COVID-19 and thus they have no problem sending their children back to school.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle was known to be friends with Ivanka and has expressed her admiration for the First Daughter in the past. However, critic and satirist Craig Brown revealed how their friendship or association was left out of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s biography titled Finding Freedom and that it was a deliberate move.

“The authors of Finding Freedom conveniently airbrush Ivanka from the record, perhaps fearful that Trump formula for success and happiness might jar against Harry and Meghan’s new mission,” wrote Brown in a piece for the Daily Mail.
