Former White House adviser Ivanka Trump is married to fellow White House adviser Jared Kushner. However, there may have been a time when she was being paired with NFL star player Tom Brady by her father Donald Trump, but Brady has weighed in on those claims to set the record straight.
Brady won his seventh Super Bowl title playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week but his friendship with the former president has fans split on their regard toward him. Despite the friendship with Trump, Brady has all but endorsed him and has avoided conversations of Trump’s political pursuits. However, that may have changed in 2020, when Brady appeared on the Howard Stern show, where he commented on Trump’s politics, describing it as difficult due to the polarizing nature. Stern later changed the topic about Ms. Trump and brought up the claim that the former president liked to have seen the NFL star marry Ivanka. Brady is married to supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
Stern asked Brady if he ever went on a date with Ivanka to which the NFL player revealed that the claim was made a long time ago. Stern pressed further, asking if Brady ever considered dating Ms. Trump a few times before ultimately rejecting her. “There was never that where we ever dated or anything like that,” said Brady. “But you know I have a daughter, so I’d want my daughter … Would I ever arrange my daughter ...I don’t know,” Brady noted that the former president never made a proposition about that towards him.
Recently, an analysis by a government watchdog group found that Ms. Trump and Mr. Kushner actually made as much as $640 million overall during their stint as White House advisers. The couple collectively earned between $172 million and $640 million in outside income, according to their final financial disclosure forms, said the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington or CREW.
While Ivanka and Jared pledged not to receive any government salaries, the review showed that the couple, like Ivanka for instance, was paid a hefty sum through her father’s hotel in Washington. It also showed a sharp drop in Ivanka’s state in the hotel.
