Ivanka Trump has been one of the most outspoken allies of President Donald Trump. In fact, she has been more vocal and more involved compared to the POTUS’s wife, Melania Trump.

Last week, the first daughter showed her support for the POTUS following the States of the Union address. While speaking with Fox News, Ivanka said that it is unforgivable for if netizens are unwilling to support her father.

“For us not to come together as a nation and celebrate America’s success is not forgivable. I think that’s why the viewers who were watching today and realizing and celebrating alongside the president, alongside the rest of this country, what is happening. Because we have completely changed the trajectory of this country,” she said.

Jared Kushner’s wife went on to call the POTUS as a cheerleader for American excellence.

Melania, on the other hand, was also present at the SOTU last week, but she did not give any interviews. She didn’t also congratulate her husband on the success of the event. As such, it seems that Ivanka is more supportive of the POTUS than his own wife.

Years ago, Melania and Ivanka were pitted against each other after the latter made it seem as though she was more involved in Trump’s presidential campaign. Whenever the first lady was around, Ivanka usually took a backseat and vice versa.

In the book “Free, Melania,” author Kate Bennett revealed that the two most important women in Trump’s life have always been cordial but not close. The first lady’s spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham, told CNN that Melania and Ivanka always shared a close relationship with each other, and they still do today.

However, Bennett also claimed that the FLOTUS’s controversial I Really Don’t Care, Do U? jacket was worn as a jab at Ivanka.

“I believed, and still do, that the jacket was a facetious jab at Ivanka and her near-constant attempts to attach herself for positive administration talking points,” she wrote in her book.
