MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., March 07, 2018 -- Jamf, the standard in Apple ecosystem management, today announced that it has joined the Epic App Orchard with Jamf’s healthcare solution to deliver the optimal patient experience for those using iPad in healthcare.
The App Orchard is Epic’s developer program and includes a marketplace for apps that integrate with Epic.
With Jamf Pro’s Healthcare Listener, IT can automate a wide range of tasks remotely to deliver the ultimate patient care experience.
- Set up, configure and push apps to patients once they check-in so they can stay informed
- Temporarily lock iPad devices while patients are being transferred
- Enforce device passcodes to keep patient information secure
- Digitally sanitize devices upon discharge for the next patient
All of this can be done remotely using Jamf Pro and the Healthcare Listener; no room visit from IT required.
Jamf will be onsite at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference and Exhibition March 5-9 in Las Vegas, NV to discuss how to transform the patient experience with iOS and tvOS.
