It isn’t unusual for sitcom shows to feature events where characters risk their friendship over love or the possibility of love. This appears to be a situation that has come over the Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox friendship if recent rumors are to be believed. Tabloids have been claiming that the two are fighting over Justin Theroux, thus causing a strain in their relationship. This is not true.
This newest fib is courtesy of Life & Style and the recent report that it posted with the headline, “Courteney & Jen: Friends No More.” The report then proceeded to provide details with regards to what ruined the Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox friendship and it might not surprise many that it was over love. At least, this is what the report claims. In truth, the two are still in quite good terms.
This didn’t stop the tabloid from citing a source that supposedly knows about the strained relationship, however. It would also appear that the supposed reason for the Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox issue was the latter maintaining communication with the former’s ex-husband.
“It stung Jen that Court and Justin were in touch,” the supposed source reportedly told the tabloid. “Despite years of her and Courteney being like sisters, Jen felt she couldn’t trust her anymore.”
Despite these claims, however, it’s clear that the Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox relationship still remains strong. The biggest evidence of this is the appearance of both actresses during the premiere of “Dumplin’” where the “Scream” actress came in order to support the “Horrible Bosses” star. Clearly, the tabloid had extremely bad timing since its claim was proven false right off the bat.
As far as Justin Theroux goes, it would seem that his influence over the Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox is simply that of a likely target of gossip between girls. They might even be having the time of their lives making fun of him behind his back.
