Jungkook proved that he is the sweetest maknae when he surprised J-Hope with a personalized gift. There is no occasion but it can be assumed that the 22-year-old idol singer, prepared the gift for his BTS co-member for Christmas.
JK’s gift for J-Hope
Allkpop reported that Jungkook ordered a customized pair of Nike sneakers and gave it to J-Hope. The shoes featured Jungkook’s own design and it was incorporated into the said shoe brand’s Air Jordan 1.
The sneaker is white and the body has letters and patterns drawn in orange and yellow. The highlight is J-Hope's slogan that reads: “J-Hope you're my hope,” and this was written on the shoe’s vamp. At any rate, it was not shown what J-Hope’s reaction was to receive such a special gift from Jungkook but it can be said that he was delighted.
KpopStarz award
Meanwhile, Jungkook ended 2019 with one more solo award given by one of the most popular Kpop news outlets online. The Chinese edition of KpopStarz Awards honored the BTS member with two awards as the Best Worldwide Kpop Artist and Best Worldwide Ace Member.
His growing popularity in China played a big part for KpopStarz to give him the award since fans’ voting is also included in deciding which artists win in every category. It was reported that Jungkook is the first Kpop singer to win this award as a solo artist so it is memorable.
BTS’ new achievement
Aside from these individual awards, BTs won two more trophies for the Best Kpop Song which is “Boy with Luv” and Most Influential Male Kpop group. Needless to say, the ARMYs worldwide are proud and rejoicing for these accomplishments before 2019 closed.
And this is not all because Jungkook and the rest of the BTS group that include RM, Jimin, J-Hope, V, Jin and Suga were also included on CNN's “10 Artists Who Transformed Music This Decade” list. The news outlet praised the boy band with their worldwide influence in the music world and the other big names on the list are Beyonce, Drake, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Frank Ocean and more.
