Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are expecting twins, a recent report claimed. And despite Holmes’ representative denying the latest engagement rumors, an article also insisted that the two are actually looking forward to walking down the aisle.
Last week, Holmes sparked engagement rumors anew after she was spotted wearing what was believed to be an engagement ring while in New Orleans. As expected, various stories were later published speculating on her engagement with Foxx.
However, a spokesperson of the actress immediately shut down the reports clarifying that the ring Holmes was wearing was only a movie prop and not from Foxx. But In Touch insisted that the Hollywood lovers are engaged.
The paper cited a source that claimed Katie Holmes was wearing the ring even though she was not filming the day she was photographed with it. The insider urged it was proof that the flashy accessory was more than just a movie prop and was a declaration of love from Foxx.
“Katie is engaged to Jamie Foxx. She couldn’t be happier. Jamie and Katie have talked about getting married many times before, but she was always hesitant, saying she wasn’t ready,” In Touch’s tipster said.
Meanwhile, a recent issue of In Touch Weekly was also stamped with bold letters on its front cover that claimed Holmes and Foxx are expecting twins and planning their wedding. But other news outlets disagree with these reports.
Gossip Cop followed up with its own report to debunk In Touch’s claims. To counter the rumors, the fact-checking news outlet referred to a “qualified” rep of Holmes who reiterated that there was no marriage proposal and that no wedding is on the way. On the other hand, Holmes and Foxx having baby twins can also be entirely ruled out.
Holmes and Foxx were recently spotted together in New Orleans shortly after the latest engagement rumors erupted. The two seemed to be making trips to visit one another on their filming locations. But, this time, their work schedules matched as they both have ongoing movie projects set in the Big Easy.
