“Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 6 will have Vanessa’s (Nancy Travis) mother visiting the Baxter household and she will form an instant connection with Ed (Hector Elizondo.) While FOX is keeping everything under wraps, the show may push both these characters together to create some sort of sexual tension.
And since it’s Vanessa’s mother that is involved, that connection could provide some awkward and hilarious moments in “Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 6. This installment has seen quite the success after its September premiere, providing FOX with stellar number ratings-wise.
When asked about why the show is quite the hit among audiences, Tim Allen explains that the cancelation provided a lot of noise for the show. “In a peculiar way, the cancellation helped,” Tim Allen explained. “We got this victim/underdog thing, like, ‘They shut the door on the quiet majority!’ Baxter has a strong point of view — you can like or dislike it.” And the audiences do like it if the ratings of “Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 6 are anything to go by.
But even though Mike (Tim Allen) tends to be quite vocal with his political views, the Baxter household doesn’t necessarily agree with everything he believes. Indeed, it’s been revealed in the fifth installment that Vanessa donated to the Hilary campaign as she believes it will help improve women’s cause. Of course, not everything has to be political for the show as “Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 6 will be dealing with the classic mother-in-law situation.
The promo for the upcoming episode already showed some exchange between Mike and his mother-in-law. In the trailer of “Last Man Standing” season 7 episode 6, Vanessa’s mom complimented that Mike looks younger and that he should continue eating whatever it is that’s on his diet. The sixth episode will be airing a few hours from now and fans can’t wait how Mike will deal with his mother-in-law’s visit.
