WHAT: Invites the semiconductor industry to take its Holiday Puzzle, “The Sudoku Challenge,” using any Formal Verification software to find the solution.
The problem should be set up with hardware description languages VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog to write register transfer level (RTL) code and assertion languages SVA, PSL or ITL for assertions. Solvers’ assertions must prove the solution is unique, though specifics of the solution aren’t necessary.
Three winners will receive an Amazon Echo Plus.
