Melania Trump criticized: First Lady mocked by netizens on social media over US Space Force logo

The moment Melania Trump became First Lady after the 2016 elections, she was faced with accusations of plagiarism. Now, it seems that netizens on social media have suspected the Trumps of the same thing once again.

Express reports that upon the unveiling of the United States Space Force as well as its logo, many have pointed out similarities between their logo and the Starfleet Command logo seen on Star Trek. Because of this detail, many people were quick to comment and joke that perhaps Melania may have had a hand in coming up with the design of the logo. A few commenters said that Melania might have helped in designing the logo, while others referenced once again her speech during the 2016 Republican National Convention.

At the time, many have also noticed a striking resemblance to a big part of Melania’s speech to her immediate predecessor, former First Lady Michelle Obama’s speech at the 2008 Democratic Convention. This was the most famous plagiarism accusation brought onto the First Lady, and staff writer Meredith McIver took responsibility and apologized.

But this is not the only other time that Melania was accused of copying others, especially Michelle. During her husband Donald Trump’s inauguration in 2017, Melania wore a powder blue ensemble that was almost identical to an outfit former First Lady Jackie Kennedy wore. She may have perhaps been wanting to channel Jackie Kennedy during the time, but people naturally pointed out the resemblance on social media. Melania’s anti-bullying initiative, Be Best, may have taken cues from a famous quote by Michelle Obama as well, urging the men to “Be better.”

If there is one thing people know about Melania, it is that she is very secretive and that those who have met the First Lady is that she has a very unique scent. According to CNN reporter and expert Kate Bennett, Melania has a signature, distinct fragrance that people immediately associate with her. Bennett explained, “When it hits the nose, reporters know to get their notepads and photographers know to put their fingers on the shutter button.”

Bennett added, “You’ve got two seconds of smell warning before she enters the room.” But the biggest secret behind that fragrance of Melania’s is that no one knows what she uses. Bennett believes that this may be custom-made for Melania, and breaking it down, she explained that it is like a mix of jasmine and lily “and something more exotic.”
