Donald Trump is reportedly a good provider to his five children, but he was never hands-on while they were growing up. In fact, before the POTUS’s youngest son Barron Trump was born, he already made a heartbreaking prediction.
In 2005, the president spoke with Larry King for CNN where he was asked about his future with his new wife, Melania Trump. The POTUS said that he doesn’t mind having a kid with the FLOTUS but he may never actually see their kid.
The president did not elaborate on his answer, but it is possible that he thinks he won’t see his youngest child that much because of his busy schedule. Luckily, even though Trump is the current POTUS and he has a lot of things on his plate, he still gets to see Barron regularly.
The Trump family currently resides at the White House, and they have been staying there as a trio since 2017. After the POTUS’s inauguration, the FLOTUS waited for a few months before she moved into the White House. After all, Barron was still studying in New York at that time.
Meanwhile, the POTUS rarely talks about his youngest son in public. But he shocked everyone when he mentioned Barron during his recent rallies. Last month, Trump called his 13-year-old son a computer genius.
“I have a son at home, he’s 13, he’s a genius with computers,” he said before hilariously imitating some of their conversations.
“Hi dad. What's up dad. Dad, get out of here,” Trump revealed.
“Hey, listen. I'm the President of the United States, Barron. Don't talk to your…” Trump shares his usual response to his son.
“Dad, come on, dad. Can't you see I'm playing with my computer?” Barron tells his dad.
“The guy talks to me and he's walking with his computer. These guys are geniuses. You know, they grow up, it's like walking. But he's looking at me. I could have given them their healthcare site; he would have done it for nothing and it would have been better than what they have. For nothing,” the POTUS said.
