Despite the public announcement that the singer has made and all other confirmations that followed after, it seems the rumors about secret marriages just won’t leave Miranda Lambert alone. The most persistent of these is the one about her ex-boyfriend Evan Felker. The tabloid garbage about the two getting hitched is quite popular.
Miranda Lambert publicly announced that she and fellow singer Evan Felker are no longer a couple recently. Despite this fact, however, tabloid gossip about how the two are secretly married still keep popping up. Some of the reports even suggest that the marriage is because Miranda Lambert was pregnant, Gossip Cop reports, which is simply not true.
Among the tabloid publications that keep regurgitating this particular gossip is OK!. It reported that Miranda Lambert and Evan Felker “tied the knot in late August for one very good reason: They’re expecting!” To be clear, they are not.
The publication even went on to claim that Evan Felker had rushed his divorce with his ex-wife in order to make the wedding happen as soon as possible. He reportedly had plans with Miranda Lambert, which were time-sensitive.
“It was touch and go there for a while [before the papers were signed], and if any issues had come up, they would have had to cancel the wedding,” the tabloid claims a supposed source revealed. “Fortunately, the divorce cleared and Evan was a free man… The ink was barely dry on Evan’s divorce papers.”
Unfortunately for the tabloid publication, none of this is true and could be demonstrably proven as nothing more than a hot, steaming pile of gossip garbage. The Miranda Lambert and Evan Felker relationship is over, and there have been no signs that they might get back together. In fact, Felker might need to focus more on his health since he had to cancel shows due to kidney stones, PEOPLE reports.
