Miranda Lambert Can’t Get Over Her Failed Marriage? Songstress Reportedly Disses Blake Shelton in New Song

Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert is allegedly not over Blake Shelton yet and she is still upset about their divorce that was finalized three years ago. This claim surfaced after the “The House That Built Me” singer released a new track with her group, Pistol Annies.

The song, titled “Got My Name Changed Back,” was released on Oct. 29, and judging by its title and lyrics, many believe that Miranda Lambert is throwing shade at her ex-husband Blake Shelton. She is allegedly dissing him through the song and Celebrity Insider stated that this is because the petite songstress is still grumpy about her breakup with the country singer.

The magazine wrote that Miranda Lambert threw in some mean jabs directed at Blake Shelton through the new Pistol Annies track. Star Magazine echoed this and reported that “Got My Name Changed Back” was released to slam Blake Shelton.

Furthermore, the paper especially highlighted the part that reads, “Well I’ve got me an ex that I adored / But he got along good with a couple road whores,” to prove that the singer just let out her frustration and bitter feelings towards her ex.

It alleged that by the words “road whores,” Miranda Lambert was referring to cheating accusations while she was still married to Gwen Stefani’s current boyfriend. In any case, it reported that Blake Shelton has a positive reaction to his ex-wife’s song despite its content that seems to be pointing at him. He is said to be actually happy about the song and enjoyed its country tune.

Meanwhile, In Touch Weekly previously reported that Miranda is still hurting over her divorce with Blake Shelton and that she will be forever scarred by this bitter separation. “Miranda still wants to get back at Blake for the cruel way he broke her heart, drove her out of his life, and then shoved his new romance with Gwen Stefani in her face,” a source supposedly told the magazine.
