‘Modern Family’ season 8’s episode 12, titled “Do You Believe In Magic?” is set to follow Haley as she catches her boyfriend Rainer Shine cheating on her. Meanwhile, Phil is set to summon his alter ego to help his marriage with Claire after fearing that the romance in their marriage has run out.
The synopsis for “Do You Believe In Magic?” posted on TV Guide reads, “Phil (Ty Burrell) summons his alter ego, Clive Bixby, for Valentine's Day when he worries that the romantic fire in his marriage has gone out.
Meanwhile, Gloria (Sofia Vergara) is irked by Jay's (Ed O’Neill) apparent favoritism when it comes to Joe's (Jeremy Maguire) improper gifts and Manny's (Rico Rodriguez) dating insecurity; Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) urge Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons), Haley (Sarah Hyland) and gal pal Sal (guest star Elizabeth Banks) to stand up to the men in their lives; and Alex (Ariel Winter) learns she has a secret admirer.”
The incoming episode is set to bring in more laughs and drama for the Pritchett-Dunphy family as they take on Valentine’s Day head on. According to Entertainment Weekly, Cam and Mitch go on a romantic date, with Sal and Haley deciding to tag along since they’re beaus had other plans. Elizabeth Banks returns to play Cam and Mitch’s friend Sal.
Haley is set to catch her boyfriend Rainer Shine (Nathan Fillion) out with another woman, when she catches the two at a bar. It seems that his alibi of going to the weather station is a lie after all. Things are bound to get chaotic in the confrontation.
Meanwhile, Phil calls upon his alter ego Clive Bixby to make things right for him and Claire on Valentine’s day after fearing that romance in their marriage has somehow dissipated. It seems that Clive will definitely keep the couple’s fire burning in episode 12.
