The partnership continues for NFLA under the name of Pro Football Legends which is the marketing arm of the retired players group.
NFLA has 35 active chapters across the United States, which each host events throughout the year that raise money for local charities in the respective regions. JVC will donate over 100 televisions each year to NFLA chapters to auction off at these fundraising events to support NFLA's mission of ‘Caring For Kids’ along with philanthropic efforts to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
"I am pleased to have JVC back on our team,” said Elvis Gooden, CEO of NFL Alumni. “Our chapter events play a huge role in our fundraising efforts around the country and together we will continue to raise money for their local charitable causes.”
Also, additional JVC TV’s will be donated to teams participating in the St. Jude Children’s Research Triathlon in various cities. Alumni will use the TV’s to drive funds for St. Jude’s Children’s Research and 100% of the proceeds will go towards St Jude Children’s.
“JVC is delighted to continue the partnership with NFL Alumni," said Richard Houng, President of JMC representing JVC. "It has been a positive and productive partnership. We have leveraged JVC’s amazing products and NFL Alumni’s commitment to Caring for Kids to raise over $30,000 in funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As a brand we are committed to utilizing our innovative products to contribute to our community at large by aligning ourselves with great organization like NFL Alumni.”
NFL Alumni is the oldest, most well-known and well-respected retired player organization in professional sports. Membership includes thousands of retired players, coaches, front office executives, spouses, cheerleaders, and avid fans.

The NFL Alumni also has a traditional mission of “Caring for Kids” across the country.
