Parler, the American microblogging and social networking service that is championing itself as s free speech social media platform, has launched its own NFT marketplace called the DeepRedSky.

On its debut, Parler's DeepRedSky NFT marketplace is planning to sell digital tokens such as the CryptoTrump Club. The collection from the Official CryptoTRUMP Club will be its first showcase, and this consists of 250 rare NFTs emblazoned with the US' 45th President, Donald Trump's image.

"As promised, Parler is launching its inaugural NFT marketplace that will become the new standard in premium branded NFTs," Parler stated in a press release.

Each of the CryptoTRUMP NFT is unique and will feature the former POTUS in various settings. It was reported that the initial 250 NFTs are part of a more extensive collection numbering to 10,000, which are set to be released at a later date.

Parler's new NFT marketplace will be offering an engaging user experience in a simple way. It aims to connect collectors and fans with world-class brands and personalities across many sectors, including sports, arts, media, and politics. Moreover, DeepRedSky will also be a stage for creators who have the same views and values on freedom of expression.

As per Forbes, the new NFT marketplace will sell non-fungible tokens based on the Solana blockchain. It will also make the tokens available for purchase using credit cards. It was mentioned that OpenSea will be taking a 2.5% cut for each transaction related to DeepRedSky's NFTs.

It should be noted that DeepRedSky's fees will be higher than the others, but Parler's chief executive officer, George Farmer, did not share more details about it. Thus, it is still not clear how high these will be.

"We want to work with somewhere between sort of 50 to 100 brands, and we want to offer a far more full-service provision than OpenSea currently offers, which is basically just minting and a place to put them up," the CEO said. "We want to help you with brand promotions, with social media, with Discord," the social media app that has become a popular home for NFT collectors.

Finally, Farmer said that Parler's development of its NFT marketplace is a crucial step for the company to reach its goal of becoming a frontrunner in Web3 technologies.
