STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 09, 2016 -- Neonode Inc. (NASDAQ:NEON), the Optical Interactive Sensing Technology Company, today announces that the company will be attending the 2016 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona to showcase its new AirBar sensor at the Neonode booth in the Swedish Pavilion, along with a host of other zForce® applications. AirBar powered by the new NN1003 SoC, manufactured by STMicroelectronics, will also be on display at the STMicroelectronics booth.
AirBar brings displays to life, adding touch and gesture sensing to both new and existing PCs. AirBar works with Windows® and ChromeOS™ operating systems as a “Plug and Touch” solution anywhere: simply plug AirBar into the USB port and interact with the display immediately.
Neonode zForce AIR™ technology powers the AirBar sensor, creating highly responsive touch interactions even on matte glare-free displays as opposed to today’s glossy capacitive touch sensors.
“The MWC is a perfect event for us to meet key decision makers that will resell and distribute AirBar globally. We are very excited to begin shipping the first units in the coming months to meet the demand from the market. AirBar brings new opportunities for PC OEMs to integrate our sensor into their devices and addresses the huge existing market of 500M+ non-touch PCs,” said Remo Behdasht, SVP AirBar Devices at Neonode Inc.
Go to www.air.bar and order AirBar for your 11.6, 13.3, 14 or 15.6 inch display.
Find Neonode at the following locations during MWC:
Swedish Pavilion, Hall 7, Stand 7E41 & 7F41
STMicroelectronics, Hall 7, Stand 7A61
