“Outlander” Season 4 is set to air on November, but there has yet to be an actual date for the premiere. The leading contender right now is Nov. 4, but Starz would neither confirm nor deny that this was the case. This is going to make the wait an agony for the fans, who are eagerly awaiting the upcoming season’s twists and surprises. Among them is a villain who is wholly committed to be hated.
As the fan site Claire and Jamie notes, Starz is still not willing to commit to a particular date for the “Outlander” Season 4 premiere. Though it is still set for November, fans are not exactly sure when during that month they’ll be able to see their favorite time travelers on the small screen again. This is causing no small amount of anxiety within the community.
The date Nov. 4 was first floated around when an “Outlander” Season 4 promo had let it slip. It was later retracted, and the network has since kept silent on the matter. If it’s not the 4th, it could be any of the other Sundays of November. Then again, there is always the possibility of the show changing timeslots or days entirely. This wouldn’t make much sense, though, since the Sunday timeslot has been good for the show.
With regards to what fans can expect from the new season, it promises to be a great one with a terrifying villain. Ed Speleers will be playing Stephen Bonnet, and he is committed to being the bane of the time-crossed lovers’ lives, Cosmopolitan notes. The actor is quite committed to becoming the most hateful character that he can be. This should make “Outlander” Season 4 quite the stressful affair.
It’s going to be quite difficult to surpass the malice that Jack Randall brought to the show, but Ed Speleers promises to do his best. This should make “Outlander” Season 4 one to watch.
