CHICAGO, March 31, 2016 -- ReAlign Chiropractic will be a vendor at the upcoming Shamrock Shuffle 8K Health & Fitness Expo on April 1-2, 2016. The Shamrock Shuffle, sponsored by Bank of America, includes an 8K run/walk in addition to two days of exposition by more than 75 area health and wellness vendors. The Shamrock Shuffle 8K Health & Fitness Expo will take place at McCormick Place, West Building, Hall F, 2301 South Indiana Avenue, Chicago, Illinois.
Participants in the 8K must attend the Expo in order to pick up their participant packet, bag and Nike participant shirts. The Expo is free and open to the general public as well. The Expo offers the latest in footwear, apparel, nutrition, fitness, health, and technology. Vendors are on hand to demonstrate new products, offer their expertise and answer participant questions.
ReAlign Chiropractic will be present both days of the expo offering complimentary chair massages and spinal screenings. Dr. Peter Georgiou, D.C., owner of ReAlign Chiropractic and certified chiropractic sports physician, welcomes the annual event. “We love the opportunity to get out into the community and work with new people,” stated Dr. Georgiou. “Participants at the Expo are generally interested in health and wellness, but some may just be beginning their journey while others are at an advanced level of physical fitness. We find that we are able to offer guidance to individuals no matter their level of fitness that will help them along the way. It might be massage therapy for a nagging ache or pain or recommendations for chiropractic adjustments to improve their overall wellness.”
ReAlign Chiropractic is a Chicago area chiropractic practice that offers professional chiropractic care, massage therapy, spinal decompression therapy, auto and personal injury care and energy and weight loss solutions. Dr. Georgiou and his staff employ the latest technologies to aid in patient care including electrical muscle stimulation and ultrasound to help patients recover from injury faster. In addition, they use strength training and exercises to strengthen the affected area and prevent future re-injuries.
“Our practice goals are consistent with those of the organizers of the Shamrock Shuffle Expo,” stated Dr. Georgiou. “We want to do everything in our power to help our patients live the healthiest and fullest lives they possibly can. Physical activity and routine chiropractic care can dramatically improve a patient’s quality of life, especially after an acute or repetitive use injury. We can get them back to their normal routine and the activities they love as soon as possible.”
