Sam Heughan just launched his new campaign and it is all for charity. The “Outlander” season 4 star dropped his new ad with the support of Omaze, an online fundraising site that offers once-in-a-lifetime experiences and exclusive merchandise to help out the needy and support critical causes.
As for Sam Hueghan’s ad, titled “Be Sam Heughan’s Sassenach for the Night in Scotland,” one lucky donor will get to spend a special time with Caitriona Balfe’s “Outlander” co-star. What’s more, the date will be in Scotland and she will be attending the My Peak Challenge gala with Sam.
To be more exact, as posted on Omaze, here are the once-in-a-lifetime experiences that the lucky donor will get.
- Be Sam Heughan’s date for the My Peak Challenge gala and get to know Jamie Fraser in real life.
- Ride with Sam in a horse-drawn carriage, warm up with a whiskey tasting, if she wants, and sit together at the gala.
- Join in on other gala events, like a personal training session with Sam’s trainer and a scenic hike in the Scottish countryside.
- Get flown out to Scotland and put up in a 4-star hotel.
It was also mentioned that all travel tickets and hotel accommodation are included as prizes.

All the donations that will be raised through this event will go to Bloodwise and Marie Curie. The former is an organization that helps fund blood cancer research while the latter is a foundation that helps out people will terminal illness and their families.
For those who will not win the date with Sam Heughan, they will still get some amazing prizes. People who will donate $1,000 will automatically get a signed headshot of the actor. And with a $2,500 donation, donors will get a signed script of “Outlander.” Apparently, more donations mean more entries and a higher chance of winning a date with Jamie Fraser.
Meanwhile, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are coming back for “Outlander” season 4. It is set to premiere on Nov. 4 on Starz. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Caitriona described the upcoming installment by saying, "We have some really, really cool scenes and setups. The sets are incredible and the actors are incredible and the costumes are incredible, so I'm excited to see that."
