PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J., Feb. 21, 2018 -- The Secure Technology Alliance invites government and security executives and thought leaders to attend its Securing Federal ID 2018 conference, coming to Washington D.C. this June. This event provides comprehensive coverage of identity management and strong authentication in government programs, and brings together the most important developments, innovations and experts in federal identity credentialing and access security.
Securing Federal Identity 2018 will be held June 5-6 at the Hamilton Crowne Plaza in Washington, D.C. To register and for more details about the event, visit www.securingfederalid.com.
“The Secure Technology Alliance government events bring together the most influential thought leaders to address pressing issues and emerging technologies and standards impacting identity and authentication in government,” said Randy Vanderhoof, executive director of the Secure Technology Alliance. “For this year’s event, we’re bringing together experts to lead sessions on future technologies and government policies to manage identities and secure access to federal facilities and sensitive information on online government networks across all federal agencies.”
The Secure Technology Alliance is looking for government and industry security leaders to share their use cases and vendor-neutral, educational presentations that focus on federal government-led security policies and infrastructure changes for enhanced security for physical and network (logical) access or trusted identities. Examples of topics that the program committee will consider include:
- Federal Personal Identity Verification (PIV) use cases for access control
- Derived credentials for mobile identity systems and authentication
- Mobile and cloud identity programs
- Digital identity proofing and authentication
- Cybersecurity and identity frameworks
- Advanced biometrics for access security
- Continuous diagnostics and mitigation
Speaking proposals will be accepted through March 23, 2018. For Securing Federal Identity 2018 event information, registration, and location details, or to submit for the call for speakers, visit www.securingfederalidentity.com.
The conference is open to all individuals and organizations who wish to learn about the role of secure identity and authentication in government programs. Secure Technology Alliance member organizations and federal government employees receive complimentary or discounted registration pricing.
