“Shameless” season 9 episode 7 is going to be the midseason finale for the American comedy-drama and will have Fiona (Emmy Rossum) struggle through the failings of her financial investment. The eldest Gallagher daughter has been quite confident in her ability to play with the big-wigs in the investment sector but has proven to be inadequate when it came down to it, Carter Matt reported.
The synopsis of “Shameless” season 9 episode 7 is filled with inside conflict within the Gallagher children, as well as friction from their respective relationships outside of it. But all of these aren’t new to the Gallaghers, who eventually find it in themselves to support each other despite a dark cloud hanging above their heads.
And speaking of support, Fiona will need all the assistance she can get as Max Whitford (Neal Bledsoe) is now breathing down her neck. Debbie (Emma Kenney) will be the primary source of this assistance in “Shameless” season 9 episode 7 as she tries to clear the mind of her sister in order to find the best solution to her predicament.
And since Ian (Cameron Monaghan) is now behind bars, Fiona feels that her whole world is crumbling around her. But it doesn’t stop there. In “Shameless” season 9 episode 7, it will be revealed that Fiona’s relationship with Ford (Richard Flood) turns out to be a lie.
Apparently, the guy has a family of his own that he never mentioned to Fiona. With all of this turmoil going on in her life, Fiona’s will to survive is going to be tested like never before. It’s no secret by now that Rossum is set to exit the show in this installment. As such, it’s safe to say that “Shameless” season 9 episode 7 will set up how the showrunners will handle her departure once and for all.
Rossum revealed her decision to walk out of the series in a heartfelt Facebook post, where she outlined how important the show is to her. It’s still unclear whether her investment hubris will have anything to do with her exit and fans will have to watch “Shameless” season 9 episode 7 on Oct. 21 to pick up clues regarding this development.
