Sofia Richie and Scott Disick were revealed to be dating last year but they did not confirm it right away. Their “in a relationship” status was revealed when paparazzi photos of them were released online. They were pictured having vacations together and spending time on a beach or a yacht.
The duo confirmed that they are together through social media posts. Although there were very few or no captions, the photos they upload online speak a lot about the real score between them.
Many people were surprised, and Sofia Richie’s dad, Lionel, even publicly admitted that he is against the relationship since Scott has children and he is much older than her daughter – a 15-year age gap to be exact. It was like a “you and me against the world” situation as they chose to ignore what everyone else was saying and just continued to enjoy what they had.
And now, a year after, they are still going strong and she is ready to speak about her relationship with Scott Disick. In a rare interview, Sofia Richie opened up and shared how she feels about being with the 35-year-old ex of Kourtney Kardashian.
Speaking to The Goss (via Sydney Morning Herald), she said, “We are very happy, very lovey-dovey.”
“We are best friends and that is mainly the strongest connection we have. We have always had that best friend connection and from there it has really worked out. I am so happy,” Sofia Richie added.
The 20-year-old model was also asked about the rumors of her supposed rift with the Kardashians. She confidently replied that the reports are incorrect by simply saying, “Everything is so false.”
She went on to explain that she refrains from reading tabloids or magazines about her, Scott or the Kardashians because she just gets really upset. Sofia admitted that they are hard to fully avoid, though, so sometimes she gets a good laugh out of them.
Meanwhile, prior to this interview, Sofia Richie was a guest on Australia’s “The Morning Show” and it was said that she requested not to be asked about her father and Scott Disick. The talk turned awkward as the hosts brought up the two men and it caught her off-guard, according to Cosmopolitan.
