“Southern Charm” season 6 is really coming back and this was confirmed by Bravo. As a matter of fact, filming for the new episodes already started not long ago.
According to Us Weekly, the camera began rolling sometime in the first week of October. It was said that the cast members who are back at work are Kathryn Dennis, Shep Rose, Craig Conover, Cameran Eubanks, Naomie Olindo, Chelsea Meissner, and Austen Kroll.
Thomas Ravenel was not mentioned and this was because he was already fired from the show. Prior to Bravo’s confirmation about his exit, he tweeted that he was not coming back for “Southern Charm” season 6.
His departure stemmed from the fact that he was arrested for assault and battery. Two women came out earlier this year and they accused him of sexual assault but he denied this. Then an arrest warrant came out in September and this was for a different incident that occurred in 2015.
The charge for his arrest was the same though – sexual assault. The complainant for this case is the nanny who took care of his children with Kathryn Dennis. Bravo announced his departure from “Southern Charm” on Sept. 25.
Now, with his exit, many are wondering if his on-and-off girlfriend, Ashley Jacobs, is returning. It was said that Bravo approached the reality star to appear in “Southern Charm” season 6 but she allegedly refused the offer.
“They weren’t specific about what her role would be since she doesn’t have a lot of people to film with. They wanted Ashley to work her way back into the friend circle, but there was just no guarantee that that would happen,” the source shared.
Now, with his boyfriend’s arrest, rather than turning away from Thomas Ravenel, Ashley Jacobs supported him. They even rekindled their romance after this incident, Entertainment Tonight reported.
“Southern Charm” season 6 has no premiere date yet but according to The Hollywood Gossip, it could arrive in April 2019. Fans can expect to watch a total of 10 episodes for this installment’s run.
